Kerry Group is another company that saw potential in TWS. They had a storage facility that was 12,000 square metres in size in their Tralee base. A solvent free resin needed to be used in this area as the storage unit was used to store food products.
The flooring was very old and had many different spillages on it over the years. Recently newly poured concrete was causing problems due to the fact that it was uneven and rough. In order for TWS to start work this had to be rectified as otherwise the flooring would not be successful.
What was done in this case was a procedure known as diamond grinding followed by vacuum blasting and this restored the levels and made the floor even before applying the different coatings. The coating that was used was hard wearing and durable and was able to withstand the amount of traffic that would occur on a daily basis.
